THE BEGINNING
This year's Istanbul Marketing Summit centers around the theme of 'Virtual Reflections.' Through this concept, the summit aims to shed light on the new marketing paradigms emerging amidst digital transformation, and educate participants on the applications brands can leverage to stay ahead of the curve in the future.
CONTEXT
The dictionary definition of the word 'virtual' refers to something that does not exist in reality but is instead imagined in the mind. While we often use this term to describe digital universes created by computers, it has expanded to encompass much more than simply a world we access through screens. Today, virtual experiences are an integral part of our globalized culture, shaping our understanding of the world around us.
As the meaning of virtual evolves, so too do the concepts, situations, and objects in our daily lives. In an era where reality and illusion are often blurred, it's essential to recognize the importance of returning to the tangible world and understanding the 'new reality' of our era, both in physical and virtual space.
“Virtual Reflections” concept aims to liberate us by enabling us to look at the new reality of our era from a wider perspective, in which we live together with our reflections in the digital world.
